My name is Sarah and I decided to create a blog that reviews and documents my purchases from the shop named Lush.
I first started going in there a few years ago. The first thing you notice about Lush is that you can smell it from across the shopping hall! It's so beautiful and inviting that I just had to have a look. It's a gorgeous shop full of products for your skin and your body in general.
I love that they are fresh, handmade cosmetics and the company are vegan and fight against animal testing - now that I can agree with. So although they are pricey, it's for a good cause.
I personally started this because I have a nut allergy, eczema and sensitive skin in general, I thought this blog would help anyone who has the same unfortunate points as me. I was aiming to have a nut-free blog but by accident I have used bath bombs with almond oil in and I have been perfectly fine with them. This is by all means NOT a go ahead to use products with almond oils in. I'm getting older and I may be growing out of my allergies. I'll write if it affected me in any way, but that's down to you, I am not responsible for your actions.
I am not allergic to coconut or coconut oils so some products may have this ingredient.
However, not all of us know if our skin is going to react and flare up our eczema. I'll write about if it affected my eczema in any way, although it's up to you if you want to try it and we all have to bare in mind that all our bodies are different. What might not flare me up, could possibly flare you up, and vice versa. My friend has psoriasis and she finds it very difficult to use Lush products as most irritate her. So just keep that fresh in your mind if you decide to use a product.
I will put price guides for the ones I know, as some products are seasonal and I got them for gifts, so unfortunately I don't know the prices. I also have a favourites page which you can check out and see my favourite buys.
I love anything vanilla or lavender scented, hence the name, and also anything with seaweed or cocoa butter in. These are my favourites so these are the ones I will most likely buy and these are the ones I'm definitely drawn to. I'm not a massive citrus fan so apologies for that.
